ABOUT ME

I'm currently a fourth year student at UNC Chapel Hill, where I'm pursing a double major in Computer Science and Linguistics, alongside a minor in Studio Art. My academic journey has been enriched by higher-level courses in Software Engineering, among other subjects, giving me a strong foundation in my field.

Through my studies, I've had the opportunity to engage in different internships, each offering unique challenges and learnings. I've interned at Datadog, Disney, RedHat, and RENCI over the past couple of years.

When I'm not in front of my laptop, you will find me experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, losing track of time with my Spotify playlists, or outdoors, tending to my vegetable garden.

MAY 2025 - AUG 2025

Software Engineering Intern 路 Datadog

Developed a test framework using Pulumi to provision an OpenShift cluster on a GCP VM and deployed the Datadog Agent with representative workloads such as Prometheus, Redis, and lib-injected Pods. This setup enabled automated environment provisioning for CI-based testing. In addition, I integrated an end-to-end test suite to validate the Datadog Agent鈥檚 functionality and metrics collection on OpenShift, effectively replacing the manual QA process that had previously been required for each Agent release. I also authored and merged pull requests, including a bug fix to correctly prefix custom resource metrics for accurate billing and enhancements to expose new metrics from the Datadog Agent.

Site Reliability Engineering Intern 路 Disney

Developed a containerized Golang application to monitor and process data from the MagicBand Show Service, deployed on a Kubernetes cluster onboard the Disney Cruise Line ship. Integrated Prometheus for real-time metrics aggregation, created custom Grafana dashboards for visualization, and configured Slack alerts for efficient issue identification.

Business Data Analyst Intern 路 RedHat

Developed Python scripts to monitor and track changes in primary data sources, automating the process to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information displayed on Tableau dashboards. I've also created a Tableau dashboard that illustrates the status of tables -whether they're stale or live- and the last update status.

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant 路 UNC CS Department

Conducted office hours for five hours each week for a Python class, which covered fundamental programming concepts and data analysis. During office hours, I resolved setup issues involving VS Code, Git, and GitHub across various operating systems. Also, I graded assignments for a class of 522 students, ensuring feedback on their work.
